Cambridge rollers or toothed ring rollers from APV are the perfect choice for professional field and grassland operations in order to selectively improve the ground contact and thus the seed germination. Both types of rollers are ideal for use in field and grassland operations and provide a good, crumbly seed bed structure as well as optimum recompacting. The Grassland Roller is available in two working widths (2.5 m and 3 m) and with 3 different roller types (Cambridge roller Ø 390 mm, Cambridge roller Ø 530 mm and toothed ring roller Ø 410 mm). Under practical conditions, the benefits of simultaneous reseeding of grass using APV seeders together with grassland cultivation implements have also been demonstrated (Pneumatic seeders and Multi-Metering Systems).
In order to ensure the contact between the seeds and the soil and to improve the germination of the seeds, the Grassland Rollers are extremely versatile. Rollers are available as Cambridge or toothed ring variation. Our seeders (MD and PS) can be mounted optimally for reseeding and new grass seeding.
