VS 150 M1 | VS 300 M1

The Tined Weeder Pro VS 150 M1 with a working width of 1.7 m and the Tined Weeder Pro VS 300 M1 with a working width of 3.2 m belong to the latest developments of APV.
With the appropriate accessories, you can use the Tined Weeder Pro as a front and as a rear mounted implement. Both models can be combined with a Pneumatic Seeder PS 120 M1 - PS 300 M1 as well as with a Multi-Metering System MDP 100 M1 - harrowing and seeding in one working pass! Possible fields of application are vegetable gardening (especially bedding) and special crop cultivation.

Functional Principle

The tines penetrate the soil while harrowing to a maximum depth of 2-3 cm in order to break up and crumble the top soil crust. This ensures a better soil aeration and the capillarity is interrupted. The main focus of harrowing is on the reduction of weeds. While the tines move over the soil, bad herbs in the shoot or germination stage will be covered with soil or pulled out and discarded on top of the soil. There, they wither and die off. This means that approximately 90 % of the weed germs in the stock are decimated.

Tines with soldered carbide

To reduce tine wear, the VS can be equipped with tines with soldered carbide.
Endurance tests show that this tine wears more slowly. As a result, the period
of use is considerably extended until the necessary tine change. The soldered
carbide tip has a length of 60 mm.

Warning signs and lighting

Warning signs with lighting are available as accessories. The brackets for the warning signs are mounted with U-bolts on the main frame of the VS.

Manual tine excavation ("tine holder“)

With the manual tine excavation, you can lift single tines and adapt the Tined Weeder Pro optimally for bed-cultivation. Either the entire VS can be equipped or any number of tine extensions can be selected. To activate the tine excavation, the flat blank has to be pushed in the direction of the tine.

Warning signs and lighting front

Separate warning signs with lighting are available as accessories for using the VS 300 in front. The brackets for the warning signs are mounted with U-bolts on the main frame of the VS.

Accessory kit feeler wheels in the rear VS 150 - 300 M1

The VS can be equipped with feeler wheels in the rear. Instead of or in addition to the support, feeler wheel brackets with U-bolts are screwed into the rear of the main frame. The brackets for the feeler wheels can be moved as desired on the cross beam and so the track can be adjusted. The
feeler wheels in the rear are swivelable. If the weeder is equipped with feeler wheels in the rear, the implement must be operated in the elongated hole of the top link.

Accessory kit feeler wheels in front VS 150 - 300 M1

If the VS is operated in the front then the rotating instead of the rigid feeler wheels have to be used. The brackets are clamped on the main frame with U-bolts and can be moved around the hollow profile as required and so the track width can be adjusted.

Use this bracket to fix a Pneumatic Seeder PS 120 - 300 with electric or hydraulic fan on the VS. The bracket is mounted on the main frame with U-bolts.

Use this bracket to fix a Multi-Metering System MDP on the main frame of the VS 150 M1 & VS 300 M1.

Accessory kit platform kit VS 150 - 300 M1

A suitable platform kit is available as an accessory to easily get to the Pneumatic Seeder. The platform including a step is mounted onto the main frame via U-bolts.

Dispersion plate installation VS 150 - 300 M1

If a PS is attached on the VS, you need holders for the dispersion plates. These are mounted on hexagonal shafts and suitable brackets. The position of the dispersion plates is in front of the harrow field as standard.

If you use a Pneumatic Seeder PS, then you need 8 dispersion plates. If you use a Multi-Metering System MDP 6 dispersion plates are required.

An additional mounting bracket can be mounted on the VS 150 & VS 300, to drive the Tined Weeder Pro in front and rear.
