The APV seeding shaft configurator has been updated extensively and is now available in its new version on our website. This practical tool helps dealers and users to quickly and easily select the optimal seeding shaft for Pneumatic Seeders in the PS series.
Based on just a few entries, the online tool recommends the suitable seeding shaft for precise application, taking into account the specific requirements of a wide variety of seeds.

Cover crop mixtures, mustard, phacelia, grass, clover, canola, buckwheat and oil radish all have different grain sizes, weights and application rates. The seeding shaft configurator optimises the coordination between the seeds and the metering system to reliably achieve the desired seed rate.

What's new?

As part of the relaunch, not only was the configurator expanded, but the calculation logic and user guidance were also improved.

Improvements and enhancements:

• Multilingualism has expanded: As of now, Polish and French can also be selected.
• Imperial units have also been added, and the seeding rates can be entered in either kg/ha or lb/ac.
• Alternatively, calculations can be based on the desired number of seeds per m².
• Common cover crop mixtures have been added. There are now more than 40 different seeds and seed mixtures available.
• The range has been expanded to include PS 800–1600, making it suitable for all pneumatic seeders from PS 120 to PS 1600.
• The number of outlets is adjustable:/strong> The number of outlets can be adapted individually to the respective device configuration.
• It indicates which fan can ensure the required application rate. It displays which fan type can reliably apply the selected seed.
• Overall, the calculation logic and user guidance have been improved. The configurator automatically recommends the appropriate seed shaft and indicates an optimal metering speed.
