DSR W for wet fields

Rice Direct Seeding Machine for seeding in wet fields - "W" stands for "Wet".
Working widths: 1.50 m / 2.0 m / 2.5 m Number of rows: standard 8, optional up to 16.

The DSR W module is mounted on the basic DSR frame with a 3-point hitch for the tractor or machine carrier, which also supports the pneumatic seed drill PS.

The main components of this module are:

  • A floating leveling board that ensures optimal preparation of the sowing surface on wet fields. With a specialized mechanical adjustment system, it continuously adapts to the field's surface. The leveling board also incorporates elements that create drainage channels on the soil surface.
  • Depth-adjustable row openers, positioned behind the leveling board, prepare the sowing furrow at a depth of 0.5 to 3.0 cm.
  • A dedicated sowing head precisely places the seed into each row.
  • A mechanism with sliding elements is used to cover the seeds in the row.

DSR D for dry fields

The DSR D module is mounted on the basic DSR frame for a 3-point hitch to the tractor or machine carrier. On the main frame is mounted pneumatic seed drill PS.

The key components of DSR D module include

  • Specially designed furrow openers, made from spring tines and a seed shoe.
  • An additional pair of harrows is installed to ensure proper seed coverage in the row, .
  • The gauge wheels ensure precise depth control.

 

 



Operating Principle

The DSR (Direct Seeder Rice) machine is mounted to a tractor or implement carrier via a three-point hitch. The integrated pneumatic seeding system (PS) ensures precise seed metering through eight, up to 16 distribution lines.

Configuration Options:

  • Equipped with steel floatation elements DSR W; for wet seeding in paddy fields

  • Or fitted with spring tine openers DSR D; for dry field seeding operations 

 

Wet Seeding Method:

  • The leveling board efficiently smooths out uneven terrain in waterlogged fields, creating a uniform, well-prepared surface for optimal seed placement.

  • Furrow openers mounted directly on the module DSR W attachment prepare planting furrow.
  • The APV PS150M1 - PS300M1 air-flow system accurately places precisely measured seeds quantity into the prepared planting furrow through specialized seed nozzle.
  • A covering mechanism closes the furrow to prevent seed loss (e.g., from birds).

 

Dry Seeding Method: 

  • Row seeding in properly prepared dry field conditions.
  • Module DSR D is equipped with special system of spring tines and seeding shoes for forming seeding furrows and optimal soil penetration.
  • The APV PS150M1 - PS300M1 air-flow system accurately places precisely measured seeds quantity into the prepared planting furrow through seeding shoe.
  • Seed coverage for preventing seed loss (e.g. from birds) is ensured by pair of tines harrow in each row.
  • Gauge wheels maintain consistent seeding depth for uniform crop establishment.
