Smartly controlled: Section Control & Variable Rate Control

The SMART TWIN is specifically designed for use in precision farming and is controlled exclusively viaISOBUS. With Section Control and Variable Rate Control, the system automatically adjusts the application rate to suit different soil zones and forward speed. Seed, fertiliser or microgranules are deposited exactly where they are needed – without overlap and with significantly reduced wastage.

Split seeding shaft for maximum control

One of the key features is the split seeding shaft. This enables precise metering and half-width control. This technology ensures clean application and maximum area efficiency, particularly on headlands, at the edges of fields or on the turning headland. In combination with application maps, true site-specific seeding is achieved – perfect for converting steering system accuracy into yield and avoiding spillage.

Tried-and-tested operation – versatile in use

Thanks to the tried-and-tested design of APV Seeders, operation remains familiar: assembly, installation and calibration are just as straightforward as with the well-known PS series. This means the system can be quickly prepared for use and easily integrated into existing workflows. With hopper capacities ranging from 120 to 500 litres, the SMART TWIN covers a wide range of applications – from cover crops and grass seed to fertiliser and microgranules.
