The next generation of APV control technology

With EasyControl, APV is introducing a new generation of control technology. Over the coming years, the tried-and-tested Control Box 5.2 will be gradually replaced by the new system. EasyControl offers modern, intuitive operation and an expanded range of functions – with a clear focus on practicality and efficiency in day-to-day work.
 

The benefits of EasyControl

As the direct successor to the Control Box 5.2, EasyControl offers a number of improvements:

• Fewer cables in the cab – for greater clarity and comfort in day-to-day work
• All sensors used are connected directly to the power supply unit, rather than to the control box (see image below).
• Modern, intuitive menu navigation – for quick and easy operation
• Based on APV ISOBUS
• Smart additional features, including:
  • Seed library with integrated weighing function
  • Maximum planning reliability thanks to automatic range calculation
  • Pre-metering function

This allows us to create a forward-looking platform that offers your customers tangible added value.
And the best part is: EasyControl costs the same as the Control Box 5.2!
 

Please note: As part of the transition, all existing sensors will be fitted with new, more user-friendly connectors. Consequently, the part numbers will change.

If you order a new Pneumatic Seeder, it must be equipped for EasyControl. If you wish to use EasyControl with an existing Pneumatic Seeder, it will need to be retrofitted.

Smooth transition

The phase-out of Control Box 5.2 will take place over several years. This will ensure a smooth transition and give you ample time for planning, stock management and customer communication. Control Box 5.2 will, of course, remain available.
